Adler University’s Master of Arts (M.A.) and Master of Industrial and Organizational Psychology programs prepare students to foster workplaces that encourage leadership, innovation, and wellbeing.

Our comprehensive program offers a Ministry-approved curriculum that integrates science, practice, and active learning. Bringing together theory, research, applied skills, and practical experience, it is designed to give students the in-depth theoretical knowledge and real-world experience to be effective, forward-thinking organizational experts.

Both programs prepare socially responsible specialists who utilize industrial and organizational psychology to address today’s most pressing workplace issues in a wide variety of professional settings, including human resources, academia, and consulting.

Scholarships

We are delighted to announce the availability of five scholarships for the Fall 2024 intake, designed to recognize and celebrate exceptional international candidates. These scholarships, each valued at $3,000 CAD, will be awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding academic excellence, community engagement, and leadership qualities across any of our Fall 2024 programs.

 
Eligibility Criteria:
 

  • Minimum GPA of 3.4
  • Demonstrated relevant experience and/or community involvement
  • Intended start term: Fall 2024
  • Exclusively available to new international applicants for the Fall 2024 intake, received through our education agents
     

Application Timeline and Process:
 

  • Application Period: we will consider all new applications received from January 01, 2024 to May 17, 2024
  • Start Term Requirement: Recipients must begin their studies in Fall 2024 to maintain their scholarship award
  • Notification: Shortlisted candidates will receive scholarship forms on May 20
  • Submission Deadline: completed scholarship forms must be submitted by May 27
  • Final Notification: Recipients and their respective education agents will be contacted on May 31 with the final decisions

 


Adler University offers a variety of scholarships to help support the educational goals of its students. Unlike student loans, scholarships do not need to be repaid and are awarded based on a variety of criteria including, but not limited to, academic excellence, mission relevance, and community involvement and service.

 

Entrance Scholarships

Admitted Vancouver Campus students may be eligible for merit-based scholarships through the Office of Admissions. Applicants are encouraged to connect with their admissions advisor to discuss eligibility and scholarship application processes.


Students can be awarded only one of the scholarships for entrance. Scholarships under $10,000 are disbursed toward tuition and fees over the first two terms and for scholarships greater than or equal to $10,000 the disbursement toward tuition and fees would be over the first three terms. Scholarships are awarded at time of acceptance after review by committee and are non-renewable. Applicants who are offered a scholarship and defer admission from the original term of acceptance are ineligible to retain the scholarship.

   Organizational Health and Wellness Scholarship  $5,000-$10,000

This scholarship is for students who demonstrate leadership potential and are interested in advancing socially responsible practice in organizations. Eligibility is open to all Canadian Citizens or Canadian Permanent Residents who are admitted to our Masters programs in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at our Vancouver campus.
Social Justice Scholarship $1,000-$5,000 Priority for this scholarship is given to candidates with either a history of providing community service or an articulated plan to design and/or implement effective and innovative solutions to a significant social problem. The award is given to talented students who have demonstrated knowledge and experience in diverse communities and/or backgrounds, and are prepared to use this knowledge to contribute to the education of their fellow students.
Diversity Scholarship $1,000-$5,000

This scholarship is awarded to talented students who have demonstrated knowledge and experience in diverse communities and/or backgrounds, and are prepared to use this knowledge to contribute to the education of their fellow students. Priority is given to candidates from traditionally under-represented, under-served, and marginalized populations who exhibit academic promise and dedication to Adler University’s mission. Priority is also given to new students who are citizens of countries other than the United States or Canada.

International Scholarship $1,000-$5,000 This scholarship is awarded to international students who demonstrate a commitment to social interest and dedication to improving their local community. It is for incoming students with excellence in academic achievement.
Merit Scholarship $1,000-$5,000 Preference given to individuals who have a minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
