Shift into leadership. Our Master of Nursing program offers you the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to contribute to the evolution of health policy. Through critical and creative approaches, you will be equipped to influence and support innovative change.

Our flexible, accessible graduate program offers a variety pathways to admission. You can choose core course options in Leadership and Managing Change in Health Care and Indigenous Health Leadership. Graduates will be equipped to meet the demand for advanced nursing roles within complex and dynamic health-care systems within BC, across Canada and abroad.

Academic Requirement

  • Minimum Level of Education Required: To be accepted into this program, applicants can  have either three or Four Year Bachelor degree from an accredited institutions.
  • Programs applicants are required to provide evidence of sucessful completion of an undergraduate introductory statistics course with a minimum C+ grade taken within five years prior to admission to MN Program
  • ENGL 1100 Composition with  a minimum C+ grade (or equivalent)

Scholarships

Scholarship Overview Eligibility

Diversity Scholarships

TRU offers global diversity scholarships to new international students that demonstrate excellent academics and are from countries that are underrepresented on campus (5 or less on campus). Scholarship will be automatically applied at time of student application if above qualifications are met.

To be considered, students should meet one of the following: 3.0 GPA or 6.5 IELTS or 88 TOEFL iBT.
 There is no application process.

Academic Excellence Award

If identified, candidates are eligible for up to $2,000. Qualified students will receive first $1,000 then must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA at the completion of their first semester at TRU to be eligible to receive $1,000 for a second semester.
This award is for new students only.

To be considered, new students must have a minimum GPA of 86% (A) during last year of high school/college/university. Award candidates will be identified by the international marketing team based on program application submission and contacted directly if deemed eligible.

Exceptional Student Award

If identified, candidates are eligible for up to $4,000. Qualified students will receive first $1,000 then must maintain a minimum 3.33 GPA at the completion of each subsequent semester at TRU to be eligible to receive $1,000 for each additional semester up to 3 semesters.
This award is for new students only.

To be considered, new students must have a minimum GPA of 80% (A-) during the last year of high school/college/university and gain direct entry to academic studies (IELTS 6.5+). Award candidates will be identified by the international marketing team based on program application submission and contacted directly if deemed eligible.
