Agribusiness isn’t just a career path for someone with a rural background.

Expand your view of agricultural businesses through one of five streams in Lakeland’s agribusiness diploma. Choose your focus:

  • Agrifood and Tourism
  • Finance
  • Marketing
  • Production
  • Sustainability

You’ll start with a common first semester. This overview allows you to confirm or change your stream choice. You’ll dive deeper into your interest area over the next 3 semesters. As well, in 2nd year you'll choose between an agribusiness practicum and a business or case analysis project.

Whatever your stream, you’ll be learning beyond the classroom. This includes projects such as:

  • Band in the Sand
  • pop up shops
  • ag-advocacy
  • the Aggies brand
  • simulations
  • case competitions

New hands-on activities:

  • agribusiness practicum
  • agritourism event
  • integration with Standard-Managed Farm – powered by New Holland
  • value-added agriculture projects
