Machining tools and techniques are evolving as the manufacturing industry grows and adapts to new technology. This two-semester Ontario College Graduate Certificate prepares mechanical engineers and machinists to respond to the modern manufacturing industry. In this hands-on program, you will learn current machining techniques and practices including benchwork, milling, and lathing, and the design of work holding devices. You will also explore in-demand practices and processes required of leaders in the manufacturing industry.

  • Minimum Level of Education Required: To be accepted into this program, applicants must have a An Ontario College Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. OR
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in mechanical engineering or machinist-related work.
