This program will prepare you with the knowledge, skills, and resources you need to be successful for a career in the evolving and progressive field of Community Mental Health and Wellness, as the need for mental health and wellness workers extends beyond clinical settings. This program is ideal for individuals who wish to focus on prevention, promotion, and intervention to support the mental health and wellness of individuals and communities using an equity-informed framework and multiple perspectives.


You'll learn how to develop evidence-informed services and programs that shape individual and community wellness. In addition to learning theory, you'll gain practical hands-on experience through real-world learning opportunities such as simulations with real-life practice scenarios and standardized patients, case studies, community field placements, and a paid Co-op work term.

Entrance Excellence Scholarship

$1,500 scholarships are awarded each intake to students at the highest level of academic performance. Applicants will be ranked based on past academic performance (highest academic average) and awards will be distributed across all countries of origin.

We’re proud to support students’ academic journeys with scholarships for the Fall 2025 intake. Degree students with an admission average of 70% or higher may qualify for scholarships ranging from $1,500 to $2,500, recognizing excellence and dedication.

  • Students with a final admissions average of 70% or more will be eligible for a scholarship.
  • Staying Enrolled: Students will need to remain registered in the degree program they are accepted to past the 10th day of the Fall term to maintain the scholarship eligibility.
