The Bachelor of Engineering - Electronic Systems Engineering (ESE) program, delivered at the honours level, is accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB) allowing students to start on the path to becoming a professional engineer. It is a unique, project-based, paid co-op program that allows students to apply the high level of theory they learn to interesting, real-world projects. It is geared to motivated individuals looking for challenging careers in the dynamic and fast-paced world of digital and analog electronics, embedded systems, software, signal processing, and communication systems.

Academic Requirement

  • Minimum Level of Education Required: To be accepted into this program, applicants must have Grade 12 / High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of six (6) Grade 12 courses with a minimum cumulative average of 65%, including five (5) required U level courses and one additional U or M level course.
  • The following Grade 12 U courses are required:
    • English (ENG4U)
    • Chemistry (SCH4U)
    • Physics (SPH4U)
    • Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U)
    • Plus one of the following: Advanced Functions (MHF4U) OR Mathematics of Data Management (MDM4U)
    • One other Grade 12 U or M level course

Scholarships

The exceptional academic achievements of prospective Conestoga students will not go unnoticed as we welcome them to our vibrant community. Starting Fall 2024, newly admitted students may be eligible for one of our prestigious scholarships as part of their acceptance


$1,500 for Grade Range 70% and above.
Any applicable scholarship will be applied to the student account in the Fall past the 10th day of the term.


CONDITIONS TO KEEP IN MIND:
Final Admission Average: Students with a final admissions average of 70% or more will be eligible for a scholarship.

Staying Enrolled: Students will need to remain registered in the degree program they are accepted to past the 10th day of the Fall term to maintain the scholarship eligibility.
