Program Overview

This Cambrian College program is designed to provide graduates with the knowledge necessary to pursue careers as Human Resources practitioners

The curriculum includes all of the approved courses required by the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) in Ontario to qualify to write the National Knowledge Exam in human resources management. Successful completion of the approved coursework and the National Exam are two of the five components required to achieve the designation of Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP). For complete information on the professional certification process, go to the HRPA website at www.hrpa.ca.

CHRP Designation:
The Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) regulates the human resources management profession in Ontario and issues the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. Completion of HRPA’s certification process confers the right to use the title Certified Human Resources Professional and the right to use the initials C.H.R.P. or CHRP after one’s name. It is the responsibility of the graduate to pursue certification.
