On this course, you’ll examine how educational policy and practices impact children with additional and varied needs. You’ll explore the latest theory and research on inclusion. You’ll examine data and scrutinise policy. And you’ll explore topics like:

  • Emotional development & attachment
  • Social, emotional and mental health needs
  • Speech, language and communication needs
  • More complex learner profiles

You’ll develop an authoritative understanding of evidence-informed practices that can support children with additional and varied needs. And you’ll know how, when and where to use them. You’ll gain new insights into your own practice or organisational culture.
