Nowadays, the security of an organization is essential in both the digital and physical environments. It includes a wide range of measures aimed at protecting the company's resources, personnel and information from various threats and risks. All over the world, there is a growing demand for qualified security professionals – managers who are responsible not only for the direction of physical security in the organization or company, but also for several other converging security domains (for example, cybersecurity, data protection, occupational safety, etc.)

The master's study programme "Security management of organizations" will provide You with knowledge and develop the competencies of personnel and property protection already at the level of the organization's management.

Managers in charge of security & safety are aware that their position must add value, not just be an expense item. The program provides an opportunity to create this added value and make managers the protectors and main supporters of the organization.

The study program has been developed in cooperation with the largest companies in the field of security, the National Armed Forces, State Police as well as experts from the biggest Baltic security organizations (e.g. Association of Security Professionals)

The program is regularly updated, supplementing it with the latest trends of the industry. The program is designed taking into account such important educational principles as interdisciplinarity, internationalization, technology and enrichment of the experience of personality formation. The study program is accredited by national Higher Education Quality Agency.

In line with globalization trends, the study program focuses on mastering internationalization and using universities international partners for global study opportunities. Mastering security gives graduates of the program the opportunity to apply themselves in the international market, such as UK, Germany, Spain, USA and elsewhere in the world. Security professionals are highly valued, and this is a well-paid career path.

Upon graduation from the programme:

• You will receive an education that allows you to develop a career as a high-level security manager in multidisciplinary organizations and institutions,
• You will be able to ensure good coordination, communication and control in emergency situations, both at tactical, operational and strategic levels,
• You will know how to develop and skillfully implement comprehensive risk management in the organization and establish comprehensive security measures,

• You will become more stress resilient and confident in Your personal capability to withstand emergencies and challenges.

Students of the organization security field have access to the Security Laboratory, which is equipped with video surveillance, fire safety, access control and building management systems, as well as various physical security equipment. In the laboratory, students can conduct various security tests and experiments, as well as develop new ideas and projects.

Additionally, there are plans to expand it in the future with modules for cybersecurity experiments and other organization security solutions.
