Program Overview

Today, smart businesses know that sustainability has to be a core part of their plan. In Environment and Business — the only program of its kind in North America — you’ll develop an in-depth knowledge of environmental issues and the business world.

Study finance and field ecology, entrepreneurship and environmental ethics, plus a whole lot more, and get the opportunity to get paid work experience through co-op on top of that.

When you graduate, you’ll be ready to make a difference, whether that’s developing business plans for renewable energy suppliers, analyzing the environmental record of a Fortune 500 company, or helping businesses reduce their ecological impacts.

Co-op
As an Environment and Business (ENBUS) student, you will gain valuable co-op work experience and gain first-hand knowledge of how environmental decision-making can be integrated into the business world. You'll complete five four-month work terms over the course of the program and complete four co-op work reports. Past co-op jobs include:

  • Sustainability Coordinator, Minto Group
  • Partner Marketing Associate, Microsoft Canada
  • Environmental Officer, Transport Canada
  • Business Analyst, Canadian Tire
