Program Overview
Information Technology Infrastructure and Services professionals play a critical role in today's technology-driven economy, helping end users work effectively with complex hardware, software, networks and websites using sophisticated tools and applications. Prepare for a strong career in this field as you learn through labs, simulators and projects. You'll also gain critical "soft skills" such as customer support, team work, leadership, entrepreneurship and communication.
Hands-on experience
Get direct experience in all areas of client and server hardware, software and networking, including:
- Network design and maintenance
- Operating systems and databases
- Website design
- Call tracking and customer service
- Network security
- Virtualization and cloud computing
Mobile computing: Anytime, anywhere
In the IT Infrastructure and Services program, you'll work on a laptop and have online access to lecture notes, assignments and other class material. You'll use OnTheHub — a multi-vendor software repository for student download and use with an academic license.
Optional co-op
Paid co-op work placements provide valuable IT support experience and professional contacts, while offsetting educational costs. Enrolment is limited through an additional selection process.

Scholarships
International Entrance Scholarship
All new international students beginning their full-time postsecondary studies at Sheridan in Winter 2025, Spring 2025, Fall 2025, Winter 2026, or Spring 2026 semesters will receive an entrance scholarship ranging from $1,000 to $3,000.
Please Note:
- ESL is excluded.
- For Winter 2025 and Spring 2025 semesters, the entrance scholarship is awarded to Year 1, Semester 1 students only.
You will be notified of your exact scholarship amount with your Letter of Acceptance. These funds will be automatically added to your account. You must remain full-time in the semester for the instalment to be issued for that semester.
The International Entrance Scholarship does not require a separate application.
