Do you want to gain the skills needed to help high-performance athletes reach their performance goals or design programs for individuals with health challenges that enable them to lead healthier lives?
As an Exercise Science for Health and Performance graduate you will assess, counsel and prescribe programs for athletes and individuals with high blood pressure, diabetes, heart conditions, obesity issues and other chronic conditions.

Program Highlights:

  • Hands-on learning opportunities within program dedicated Fitness Assessment and Resistance lab spaces. Labs equipped with equipment to test high performance athletes and clinical populations.
  • Two field placements to gain experience working with athletic and clinical populations.
  • Gain the knowledge and skills to challenge a variety of industry certifications such as the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology Clinical Exercise Physiologist exam (CSEP-CEP). The CSEP-CEP is the highest level of industry certification in Canada.
  • Graduates may also pursue certifications such as the CSEP High Performance Specialization, CSEP Certified Personal Trainer, NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and COKO Registered Kinesiologist.

  • Minimum Level of Education Required: To be accepted into this program, applicants must have Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Human Kinetics, Kinesiology or Physical Education. Applicants who have studied outside of these fields, may be considered on an individual basis.
