Program Overview

The mission of the Bachelor of Interior Design (Honours) program is to provide students with the theoretical, practical and technical skills that reflect the profession of Interior Design. Through a comprehensive curriculum delivered by an interdisciplinary faculty, this program will prepare students to apply an integrated approach to interior design solutions for the built environment and its occupants, and will prepare students for the demand to meet technological changes and currency relating to sustainability, universal design, and health and safety. This Bachelor of Interior Design degree, delivered at the honours level, provides professional training in the development of creative design solutions for interior spaces (residential, corporate/commercial, retail, institutional, healthcare, hospitality/entertainment, exposition) through project-based learning.
