College of the Rockies - Cranbrook Campus provides undergraduate students a Diploma in Recreation Management which spans over a period of two years. Anyone who is interested in outdoor activities, tourism as well as community relationships, this diploma is perfect for them. Under this program students receive experiential and outdoor education. This diploma is a life changing experience for students who have the opportunity of combining their career and interests in the dame program.
 
The faculty at College of the Rockies has designed a comprehensive curriculum, classroom interaction activities, class tours and work field trips with well educated, expert faculty members at the helm of the program, guiding students at every step of the way. Students are allowed to engage in activities that sharpen their skill sets, fostering community building, studying the major theoretical concept and a positive attitude in order to build a bright future. The Recreation Management program helps prepare students to become leaders in the recreation and leisure services industry. This program opens up a number of professional doors for students such as event management experience, recreation programming simulation, inclusive recreation programming, job shadow assignments, guest speakers, volunteer assignments, site visits to recreation facilities and applied research.
