Our Story
François Florent founded the school in 1967. A man of the theater and an avant-garde educator, he proposed an innovative approach to artistic teaching. Fifty years later, the school continues to reinvent itself. Currently directed by Simone Strickner, it continues to evolve to train the artists of tomorrow. 

• Courses in English for 20 years and in German for 8 years to consider playing internationally. 
• New training in musical comedy (2012) and music (2013). 
• New campuses in Brussels (2013), Montpellier (2015), and Bordeaux (2017) to find talent where it is. 
• International opportunities through our presence in Germany in partnership with the Macromedia group. 
• New courses every year to adapt to developments in the world of entertainment and cinema.

Paris Campus

The Cours Florent was born in Paris. The theater school's historic campus remains an educational laboratory in the heart of the capital today.

Training in Paris

• The Cours Florent offers several trainings that, in addition to performing on stage or in front of the camera, allow you to approach singing, dancing, improvisation, movement work, masked acting, etc.
• After a first year allowing students to learn the fundamentals of interpretation, they can choose, from the second year, either to continue the theater training or to choose the cinema or theater & camera course.
