Program Overview

Jointly delivered with Paris School of Business (PSB), this innovative MBA in Arts & Cultural Management, taught exclusively in English, combines the expertise of a renowned business school with the know-how of IESA arts & culture in training for careers in the art and culture market. It offers students the opportunity to acquire dual skills and to immerse themselves in a dual culture, that of management and commerce and that of the arts and cultural sector in all its specificities. It allows students to obtain a PSB diploma and the level 7 title registered with the RNCP* of IESA arts & culture Cultural Project Administrator.

This Bac+5 in Art and Culture Management is designed to prepare students to work in various management positions in industries, businesses and artistic and cultural institutions through intensive joint teaching in management, marketing, finance, law and economics of culture and management of artistic projects and a specialization in one of the two options offered: performing arts professions or visual arts professions.

This MBA emphasizes an international approach to the arts sector. Students come from different countries and cultures and are taught by practicing professionals, most of whom have extensive international experience.

  • Master the management of a business or a cultural or artistic project: financing, regulations, law, HR
  • Know how to develop a cultural project : marketing, brand communication
  • To be able to promote an artistic or cultural project by contextualizing it in relation to contemporary creation and the expectations and practices of target audiences
  • Know how to communicate about a cultural project and carry out mediation actions in line with the nature of this project and the target audiences
  • Develop your professional network in the chosen specialist sector

To achieve these goals, students work on case studies and participate in a group project in their chosen specialty. They also write a final dissertation. The project and dissertation are presented to panels of professors and external professionals.

The professional networking and acquisition of international culture are reinforced by participation in three study trips to several European cities, as well as an optional six-month internship to gain experience in European artistic and cultural markets (in-depth knowledge of the arts and cultural industries, meetings with experts and industry leaders, experience of cultural events in different European capitals, meetings with artists, etc.). Students wishing to create a startup can also join the IESA incubator, IESA Incub, specialized in the acceleration of cultural businesses.
