About Plymouth State University
Offering a rich, student-focused learning environment, Plymouth State University is a regional all-inclusive university. The campus offers a New England classic look which includes latest facilities. The university was founded in 1871 as a teacher training school. It is a part of the New Hampshire and is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. In 1948, graduate programs began in the university. The university has a very vast library with over 345,000 volumes. There are 80+ student clubs and organizations which give the students an opportunity to go beyond the class room and explore their hobbies and interact with other students.

Location: The campus is near to White Mountain National Forest. The area is rich in trails for hiking, biking and rock climbing. Students can avail opportunities for water sports: sailing, snorkeling, or simply floating as the campus has a nearby lake region.
