Lawyer/Solicitor

After graduating with a Law degree, graduates can become lawyers or solicitors and work in law firms or corporate legal departments. Their duties include providing legal advice, handling legal transactions, and representing clients in court. 

Barrister

Barristers are specialized advocates in New Zealand who represent clients in court proceedings. Barristers' primary focus is on litigation and advocacy, and they are known for providing expert legal representation in court. 

In-House Counsel

In-House Counsel handle the legal matters of Corporations, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. They provide legal advice, draft contracts, and ensure compliance with laws specific to the organization.

Government Lawyer

After graduating with a degree in Law, students can work as lawyers in various government departments and agencies at different levels. They may be involved in providing legal advice to government officials. 

Legal Consultant/Advisor

Law graduates can work as legal consultants or advisors, providing guidance on legal matters, compliance issues, and risk management to different entities.

Legal Analyst/Researcher

Students of Law can also pursue careers such as legal analysts or researchers, conducting legal research, analyzing case law, and providing legal recommendations.
