IELTS Writing Task 2 Tips

Writing task 2 includes an essay of 250 words on various topics. It is an easy task yet has to be attempted in a very effective manner as its worth is double that of Task 1. Here are a few tips to fetch good bands in Task 2.

The type of essay should be attempted as per the question asked in a proper format. The writing out of the topic will not serve any purpose.

Task Achievement
The right connectors before a paragraph or a point will provide a beautiful presentation and continuation in an essay.
Proper usage of Connectors
An essay’s language should be very formal unless your viewpoint or opinion is not asked in the question. Avoid using words such as ‘our’, ‘we’.

Formal Writing
In the body paragraphs after the good explanation of points, the relevant example at the end will provide the appropriate justification.

Inclusion of Examples
The tenses, articles, and prepositions must be according to the conditions and circumstances that will definitely pave the way to great scores.
