Canada January 2023 Intake Timeline

Canada offers three different intakes to apply for a bachelor’s or master’s degree. Since entry to every intake is restricted to a certain time, you should apply as early as possible. Here is a quick guide to January intake 2023:

About January Intake in Canada
Popularly known as the winter intake, is a means to allow students who miss their admission in fall intake due to reasons including delayed documentation processes or release in scores.
Duration of January Intake
In the continuation of fall intake, winter intake covers four months: January, February, March and April.
Deadline for January Intake
The deadline for this intake varies from one institute to another but generally falls between September and November.
1. Start preparing early
2. Prepare for tests like GMAT, GRE, TOEFL, SAT and IELTS two months in advance (July – Aug)
3. Submit your application (Aug– Sept)
4. Acceptance Letters and Interviews (Sept– Oct)
5. Application for student Visa/ Education Loan (Oct – Nov)
6. Prepare to fly
