Program Overview

Prepare for a fulfilling career in the exciting hospitality and tourism industry with the Hospitality and Tourism diploma. During this program, you will receive hands-on training in a diverse range of tourism facilities and services, from sporting events and recreational operations, to mixology, culinary theory and everything in-between.

During this program, you’ll be equipped with practical knowledge and skills required for exceptional front-line guest experience, as well as leadership and management skills to pursue exciting supervisory and management careers.

Throughout the program you’ll engage in a variety of industry field excursions that serve to enhance your learning experience and provide valuable networking opportunities. Two work-integrated learning terms (paid industry internships) completed over the summer, act to reinforce the knowledge and skills developed during class instruction.

Work Integrated Learning: Students enrolled in the Hospitality and Tourism Management diploma program will be required to complete two paid industry work experiences, along with a capstone project to demonstrate their supervisory and management experience, following the end of each winter term.
