Monmouth University is a private university located in West Long Branch in New Jersey. It was established in 1933 as Monmouth Junior College. In 1956, it became Monmouth College, and later in 1995, it turned into Monmouth University after receiving its charter.

Monmouth University is home to more than 4,000 full-time and 250 part-time undergraduate and more than 1,700 graduate students. There are more than 300 full-time faculty members, and the university’s teachers-students ratio is 13:1. The class sizes are capped between 19-24 because of the small student population.
