Clothes required in Canada

The climate in Canada has of course affected the clothing to a substantial extent. Generally, the warm coats and sweaters are worn for a greater part of the year.

Tips:
If you arrive in Canada during the winters, you will need warm clothing such as insulated, waterproof boots; an overcoat; a scarf for your neck; a hat covering your ears; and gloves or mittens. If you come from a warm climate, buy some winter clothes before you leave for Canada, if possible. Or, it would probably be better to buy winter clothes soon after arriving (note that winter clothes are more expensive than summer clothes) as they would be more suitable to the environment there. You might also wish to contact the international in your college/university for any help.
