Anuraj Sandhu, Director Canam Consultants Ltd., studied at Lawrence School Sanawar, one of the leading Public Schools in India. He did his Mechanical Engineering from PEC (Punjab Engineering College), a premier engineering institutes of India. He started his career in the Birla Group in India in a technical capacity for three years. After that he joined Industrial Engineers Ltd, an Engineering consulting firm implementing thermal power engineering projects in North India. He migrated to Canada in 1995 where he worked for a major telecom company before returning home to set up a career consulting firm that eventually led him to education consulting. He is one of the first few CSIC members of Canada and has led the company to the position of being the largest promoters for Canadian education in the Indian sub subcontinent.
At Canam, he is responsible for:

Building Canam’s nationwide marketing infrastructure, corporate and alliance partner programs and developing international affiliations.

Devising a framework for identifying business opportunities; conceptualizing various innovative marketing and business promotion strategies to maximize market penetration. Regularly collaborating with the teams to adapt these to their local markets and help them prioritize and sequence key marketing initiatives for maximum impact.

Providing leadership in managing public relations with government agencies and private institutions to help build strong working relationships.
He is currently responsible for the expansion of the Education Consulting Division which provides advisory services to professionals and students wishing to pursue higher studies abroad through an extensive national network with offices in most major cities.
