Sukhmeet Grewal (Sr.Vice President) - Finance

Sukhmeet Grewal, Sr Vice President (Finance) Canam Consultants Ltd., is a Commerce and Business graduate with over 26 years experience in Finance and Accounts. He worked in Senior financial positions in two companies before setting up Canam jointly with Anuraj Sandhu in 1996.

At Canam, he takes care of the Finance and is responsible for the following:

1. Cash flow management, making arrangements for short term & long term requirements & investment of surplus funds.

2. Review & analysis of monthly & annual consolidated financial statements.

3. Negotiate financial agreements with institutions & clients.

4. Advising & updating the management on changes in financial policies/ tax laws & other statutory regulations, as applicable.

5. Co ordinate with financial institutions/banks for the restructuring of loans, for enhancements of loans/better borrowing rates.

6. Monitoring of financial and accounting operations in compliance with accounting standards.

7. Development and implementation of financial processes and control procedures.

8. Preparation of Budgets and its analysis for variances.

9. Preparation of  reports and forecasts and monitoring  financial performance.

10. Planned & set up financial systems, policies & procedures for Canam Consultants Limited, India.

11. Planning for the next 12 months financials, on a montly/quarterly/annual basis for direct costs & overheads across all verticals, based on the estimated revenue collection.

12. Apply profitability ratios to calculate the more profitable services/service centers of the company.
