Rajni kakkar has done her Masters in Public Administration from Punjab University, India. She started her career as a volunteer/activist in the insurgency prone areas of Nagaland and Manipur in North East India where she Assisted government agencies in identifying and implementing suitable programs for providing jobs, skill training, and alternative livelihood projects for the insurgency inflicted populace within a wider set of strategic inducements for peacemaking.
She joined Canam in 1996 and has been responsible for the migration and the US and Australian consulting verticals within the company. She is responsible for the following:

Building a well knit, cohesive team to support a network of 22 office locations across the country. Is responsible for developing a consistent communication strategy, designing of work processes, training, skills guidance and orientation for managerial staff

Responsible for devising various marketing initiatives to meet company's objectives.

Planning marketing strategy in collaboration with partner universities and colleges to market their programs in India, devising market entry strategies for them and providing strategic direction for the implementation of plans.

Responsible for conducting seminars across the country to promote Canam's services and hold individual and group pre-departure orientation programs for professionals and students.
She is currently engaged with setting up the processes for supporting student recruitment on behalf of universities and colleges in the USA and Australia and promoting Project wisdom the career consulting arm of Canam Consultants Ltd.
